Product Review: Entwine Couture 'Fall Ready Collezioni'

Hey all, i was a giveaway queen for th new year! last week i used my goodies from @MNRtv, loved the Miss Jessie's shampoo, didnt get a wow with their leave in condish but i'll try it again. Same with the sweetback treatment.

This week i used my hair crack (Mixed Chicks) for wash day. I dont use it often since my pockets arent that deep. But know this, as soon as that deep conditioner hits my hair, my hair is in HEAVEN!!!!

Ahem..
Any who here's what i used

I somehow ended up with two boxes (not that im complaining but i gave one to my coworker since she was looking in to getting the sample kit from Amazon). From Entwine Couture I got their Fall Ready Collezioni: which included full sizes of their
  • Exotique leave in hair potion (here)
  • 100% raw+vegan argan oil (here)
  • Exotique butter creme hydrator (here)
  • Creme jelle styler (here)
After i washed my hair, toweled dried it, let it air dry for bit and then followed up with the leave in. Then the argan oil ( i do like the pump!) and the butter creme hydrator. This was my LOC. These three are very light weight and have a very light scent to them. i followed up with my now foods castor oil and the creme jelle styler. The styler is a heavier consistency but also very fluffy as well, it was whipped really well.

I did some three strand twists ( next post) and that was it. I liked the feel of the products going into my hair. I prefer the creme jelle styler over the butter creme in that my hair needs a heavier moisturizer. The leave in was a bit more watery than i liked. But my hair feels awesome. I dont even have to say anything about my ends this time around (my problem area) cause they are well and truly hydrated.

I highly recommend this!
Iits CG friendly as well - no mineral oils, parabens, petrolatum, or phthalates.

Product Review: TRUE Crazy Sexy Cool Curls Pre Poo

Yea i gots another one for ya!

Alright so this months CurlKit featured this new product from TRUE Crazy Sexy Cool Curls.. i have their curling souflee (mousse) from a curlkit last year i think.. never used it.. gave it to my mom.

But this time i gave their product a try.

Now i havent used a product line pre poo before, usually i would use something of my own making or a conditioner of choice. My all time fave pre poo's are Shea Moisture Anti Breakage Mask, Aloe Vera Gel (with water and oils) or and ACV rinse.

Now this pre poo was basically the same thing as the aloe vera mix that i would make with a few extr ingredients:
The pre poo bottle contains; water( which is great!), Aloe leaf juice, hydrogenated castor oil, grapeseed oil, macadamia seed oil, glycerin, Acrylates copolymer (hair fixative - low hazard to health; used in moderate proportions) , olive oil, sodium hydroxymethylglicinate (humectant), fragrance, mongongo kernel oil and argan oil.
I love the shape of the bottle.

**in my own aloe pre poo i wood normally take an ounce or two of aloe, combine it with my oils and use my fingers to grab and scoop it onto my scalp, massage it in and let it sit**

Now what i didn't like about this thing was that my hair felt so sticky after inital application. It went on nicely left my hair wet but then it turned really sticky It felt the same as if i was using honey in my hair.... or the curling custard (Kinky Curly)/curling souffle (Shea Moisture)... i figured it was the humectant. Or the fact that i had not washed my hair in two weeks which is something i never do often (1x week washer!), so it could have been the product buildup, eh

*My mom used it after me and she didn't feel any stickiness -_-*

As a pre poo, i guess it was alright, I usually use my pre poo to detangle and it had an ok slip to do so. MY scalp felt good afterwards and my hair did feel clean as well. I shampoo'd and DC'd as usually.

Would i recommend it.... eh, maybe. if you feel like its something you want to try.

Ok, so i killed that oil mixture with peppermint!

Massage also allows hair shaft and pores to open and soak in the essential oils nourishment. For best results use daily, drink enough water, and combine with proper diet and exercise. Key Ingredients: Emu Oil, Rosemary Oil, Organic Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Horsetail Powder, Peppermint Oil, Herbal and Botanical Blend No Petroleum, No Mineral Oil , No Alcohol, No Paraben, No Sulfate, No Silicones PRODUCT DOES CONTAIN NUT BASED OILS (via Alikay Naturals website)

If you didnt read my long review on the products i tried about 2 weeks ago: The honey sage deep conditioner (great moisturizing deep treatment) had left my hair smelling like the original pine sol after applying it to my hair. I was not sure why or how it even got to that scent when it had a light sweet but musky scent in the jar.

I had followed with the Lemongrass Leave-In (love!) and the hair growth oil. When i say that pine sol scent got stronger and stronger each time i went to oil my scalp and hair.. i was becoming disgusted buy the scent and lets face it.. original pine sol does NOT smell good.

So about halfway or 3/4 of the way through oiling my hair i finally opened the growth oil bottle and took a big whiff of the oils in there. When i say that scent was strong... it made me a bit nauseous sniffing it. So after using it all over.. yes i know im a glutton for punishment.. i looked around YouTube and such for other reviews on the product to see if any experienced the same thing i did.

Again like i stated in my last post form what i read/watched for those that received it in last months CurlKit, they also experienced the 'rancid' pine sol scent, as they called it. For those that bought it directly from the website it had a more peppermint scent to it. Why that is, i have no idea.

I also came across a few testimonials where it caused extreme shedding for some people. Which is why i was a bit worried aft using the product. Even though, the product says that it contains no minerals, parabens, sulfates, alcohols doesnt mean that its always true and my strong reasoning behind them putting the ingredients of their herbal and botanical blend.

But other than that, i was able to salvage the scent of the oil.. now ill be smelling like peppermints all day...

I also added a few more drops of rosemary, jojoba, sweet almond, castor, horsetail and a bit of tea tree oil (The culprit!!!!!!.. they added to much tea tree {maleluca} oil) to the mix. The aforementioned oils were already in the bottle so i saw no more harm in adding more.

Other than that i dont know what to say about the oils... it was good on my hair, as for growht i waont really know much in the week or so since i last used it. But if you want a good oil mix this is it. Especially since it states on the label that use of this oil combined with a good diet, exercise and water will aid in hair growth. Which is so true. Other than that buy the oils and make your own mix. Which i personally think is better.

***Eventually i just added it to my own oil mixture like i said i was using all the oils there already except for Eucalyptus.. that i dont use. I even added some nettle, burdock, and saw palmetto to it (more growth oils)***

Product Review: Alikay Naturals

Hey all, so its time for another review and i could have sworn i did one on Alikay Naturals, LLC before but i guess not. So Alikay Naturals, LLC is a natural hair & body product line based in Florida, and smells heavenly. So far i have tried their lemongrass leave in conditioner (spritz), the honey sage deep treatment, the shea yogurt moisturiser, the creme brulee curl custard, and the essential 17 hair growth oil. (click on links to head over to the Alikay Naturals, LLC page for product information and price)

*review free of choice and products from my own money or my monthly curlkit subscription.. same thing*

PhotoCredit: CurlyandLovely
The first product i ever tried from them was the creme brulee curl custard, some time last year and it did wonders on my curls. They popped out gorgeously but i didnt like how my hair felt. It was a bit stiff and crunchy and my hair shrunk... a lot. Now this was in the stage of me still learning about my hair and what it likes. Also i dont think i used it in a way to really bring out the best of the product so i didnt write it off completely. I just saved it as something i would use as a later date. Especially since it smelled so heavenly. I think i spent more time sniffing it than actually wanting to use it in my hair lol

The second product i tried was the shea yogurt moisturizer. This was such a tiny sample that i only had enough to use on my ends only. At the time i was still working out a good moisturizing routine and shea butter worked great on my dry brittle ends, so i kept using it as such while i worked custards and cremes on my hair directly. Like i said my moisturizing routine was a work in progress and i had not discovered the LOC method yet. But my hair did like wjat the shea yogurt did i just wished i had a bigger size to see how my hair would really take to it.

Now, since the takeover last month for my CurlKit subscription, the only product i used was the lemongrass leave in.i used this product almost everyday while i had my marley hair loc extensions in. And yes the spritz did leave my hair smelling like lemons but it was a sweet scent that i could take any day. I continued using my own oil mixture for the duration of the time i had my twist in and kept spraying my hair with the spritz. It was lightweight and i really didnt have to worry about any product buildup since it was not heavy or a cream leave in. This stayed in my bag and continues to do so. Im making it stretch by adding water to it.

Over the weekend i used the honey sage deep conditioner, the essential 17 hair growth oil, and the shea yogurt moisturizer. The honey sage conditioner had a thick but airy consistency, like it was whipped and and  a bit grainy. It went on my hair nicely and provided a good slip for my to finger detangle/comb my hair. The scent... hmmm... well in the bottle it was light but a bit musky, on my hair im sitting in the chair wondering why am i smelling pine sol... not not the lemon scent but the original, you know the amber liquid looking on. I was not happy. Im guessing it was the sage since honey does not smell that way to me in my hair. I love they way my hair felt afterwards -soft, moisturized, lush. The only thing is the smell... that pine sol smell, lingered... joy.

PhotoCredit: MyNaturalHaven
I sprayed the leave in, used the oil (i really like that it came in a mini applicator style... tube bottle with screw applicator top) and i realized the scent was stronger. Sniffing the oil mixture i knew why... seriously that pine sol scent was so strong.  my brother says it smells like Dettol (if your Caribbean you know what it is!) so it wasn't the deep conditioner but the oil. I went back to smell and compare the two, the conditioner and the oil. And i really do like the lightweight sweet but musky scent of the honey sage i dont know why it smelt liked pine sol in my hair but the oils... despite how good it may claim to work it (first time user), I would not purchase it ever, simply because the one i got smelt like straight pine sol. Hey first impressions are important. I looked at other reviews of the oil and saw that again with those that got it from CurlKit it smelt similar but purchased full size from website, it smelt like peppermint... hmmm.

Ill see if i can doctor it up with some peppermint. I think its the rosemary (never did like how that smelt on its own) and the emu oil (though i should smell it before i throw it under the bus). so i let you guys know later how it turned out after i 'fix' it. Other than the emu oil this is exactly like my own oil blend but my own smells so much better!!! So there really is no need for me to purchase this mix.

I would like to know what the rest of the ingredients are in the 'Herbal & Botanical blend' that they put on the labels. Also if they notice the double rosemary listed on the growth oil label. I'm not a stickler for these (just want to stay away from mineral oil, parabens, and sulfates... which it does) but you would think spell check and grammar would be put into use when mass producing something. also a complete listing of product for those that are product Nazis.. i mean what if there is something that someone is allergic to or gives a bad skin reaction?.. (you never know!)

So i have my hair twisted with the shea butter (will post pics tomorrow), i didnt use any gel like i normally would after the LOC method to lock everything in and give my extra hold. I wanted to see how my hair would react to all the Alikay Naturals, LLC products as is. Would i recommend, the stuff i used... absolutely. And if anyone can get over the scent of the essential 17 oil then by all means go for it. But like i said before not everyone experienced the same scent, just the one the takeover CurlKit from what i've heard online. If not then do like i do, buy the oils separately and make your own mix.

Heres a the store listing link for those that would like to find it somewhere other than online.

Enjoy.

Product Review: Shea Moisture Hair Color System - Dark Golden Blonde

So i finally did it...I colored my hair.. and i love it!

I recently acquired the hair color at the Circle of Sisters event last month and i told myself that i was gonna wait until Spring of next year to color it but my impaitient behind waited until last night, the wednesday after i took out my loc extensions on Friday lol.. it was a good 5 day wait lol

So heres what i used:

The Dark Golden Blonde hair color and inside was the 1) Hair Color Creme 2) Creme Developer 3) Shea Moisture: Moisture Retention Shampoo, Restorative Conditioner, & Reconstructive Finishing Elixir 4) Gloves, Applicator Brush, and Applicator top

Now I wasn't sure how i wanted to color my hair, all i know is that i wasnt doing the whole head i wanted to focus more on the ends. so what i did was part my hair horizontally 5 times, starting from the back. the first section was going to be colored so i twisted it to the and pinned it to the side. The next section was not to be colored so i flat twisted it out of the way. and bantu knotted the end. I repeated this for my whole head mommy helped !) =)

After i got my sections down to where i was coloring and where i wasnt, i went through again and detangled my hair. I then followed the intructions and mixed the color creme and color developer in an old bowl. I didnt follow the bottle or brush method, just grabbed up some color on my fingers and rubbed it down the sectioned off hair, which was about three quarters of the length of my hair that the color was on.

I let it sit for about 45 min-1 hour it was just taking long to turn (did i do a post check before hand.. nope! cause im not about that life.. we go in hard body expecting nothing and getting back something lol!)

Shampoo (love)... Condition (eh its laright)... LOC Method... Twist & Tie for the night
and waalaa

My colored striped hair!
=)

Come to realize that yesterday was my 3 year NappyVersary! Go figure! Lookin Good A.SOul!

Hair care: Horsetail Oil

So sometime last year i think i made a list of new oils i wanted to try, mostly after researching oils to help with my aunts hair loss and growing bald spots since she went natural. She finally BC'd but the hair loss from weaving was that great and she had bald patches all over her head.

Le Sigh...

So i was gona make her a growth oil mixture with castor oil, burdock root, nettle, rosemary, horsetail, and other carrier oils, such as jojoba, carrot, avocado, sweet almond to balance it all out. Well i finally bought the horsetail oil and ive been using it for the past week or so. I dont like to give someone something without trying it first.

And let me tell you i suck at trying new things cause you know you're supposed to do the before and after pic's and i never remember, until after i start using it like now

But any who like ive been saying, ive been using horsetail oil for the past couple of weeks or so, and my scalp reacted to it like the first use of JBCO. it was itching like crazy. Ive been using it in my oil mixture to seal my hair and grease my scalp mid week, but this time i used it in my oil mixture for a hot oil treatment.

OH MY FRACK! where is the relief?!

seriously it went on like that for a little over 2 weeks before i got used to it. Now I'm just like whatevs and keep it moving. I don't use the oil more than 3x out of the week... when i first wash sunday and maybe 2 days after to grease my scalp (10-15min scalp masage) then another two days later for the same reason and then wash day again sunday. using it more than that will cause hair to become dry and brittle or so they say but im not taking any chances.

i've gotten a lot of growth since then, and my hair despite it always being full and thick, seems to be a bit more fuller lately. and i love it!

I do reccommend that you give it a try. there are horsetail capsules if you want to give that a try as well, but i highly reccommend you speak to your physician before you add that to your vitamin regimen. and yes there are the leaves so you can do your tea rinses or drink it as tea... but again with oral consumption speak to your physician first.

enjoy your journey!

Sunday Spa Day & Product Review: Mixed Chicks

Hi all, So Sunday was my Pamper Me day simply because i had the house to myself (mom left with little man to go to a friends church fair in CT  and Chris went to his girls house)

:::sigh..forever alone:::

Any who... had me a CurlKit sample spa day.. yep you heard me ive been hoarding these samples for a while now so i put them to use. I used Pooka's Mint n'Roses Spa Soak: It had dried roses, peppermint oil, epsom salt n fragrance... it said body n feet.. so i just dumped it in my tub.. it was ok, i had a nice soak and scrubbed my feet afterwards for my pedicure =)

I had the Yum Yum - Limoncello soy candle burning in the background while my Ed Sheeran station blasted from Pandora and i Candy Crush was on my tablet... yup i was savoring my spa time lol. The lemon scent was light and i enjoyed it mixed it with the roses and peppermint that filled my bathroom.

So while i was soaking my hair was soaking in ACV & Oil mixture cause i had od product buildup from the week. I was looking through my sample bag and was crossed between Giovanni's and Mixed Chicks, Mixed Chicks won simply because of the leave-in.

I had gotten two separate sample boxes which seemed like enough for my hair.

First off, I have a love/hate relationship with their Clarifying Shampoo.. works great as a clarifying my scalp felt awesome and was able to breathe but it stripped my hair something terrible. Like i haven't felt my ends that dry and suffering in a very very long time. But the deep conditioner saved it tremendously. And it is something that i will definitely purchase again in the future as a full sized product. I put that in and detangle my hair, it had slip but my hair was a mess from the shampoo so yea my head was tender afterwards.. le sigh. The leave-in works jsut as well too. I was happy with it and again would purchase a full size product in the future as well.

So i give the Mixed Chicks products i tried a 4.5/5 simply because of the clarifying shampoo stripping my hair. Other than it works great.. i kinda forgot why i was iffy on trying it (totally avoiding the ingredients right lol) but its cool. I may try their sulfate free shampoo if i can find a sample of it. If not the oh well.

Pics tomorrow for the hair =)

Product Review: Aubrey Organics Protein Conditioner

Now i've heard about Aubrey Organics for the longest and i was going to buy it at one point (the honeysuckle rose) but i didnt think about the GPB (Glycogen Protein Balancing Conditioner) until it showed up in my CurlKit last month.

I'm always up for a good protein conditoner and nothing could smell worse than the JBCO Protein COnditioner (as good as that one is.. along with a few extra oils.. the smell of that mustard oil is a bit too much for my liking)

INGREDIENTS INCI: Aqua, cetyl alcohol, alcohol denat. (38b, lavender*), aloe barbadensis leaf juice*, triticum vulgare (wheat) germ oil, milk protein, glycerin, myroxylon pereirae (balsam Peru) oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil*, brassica campestris/aleurites fordi copolymer, citrus grandis (grapefruit) extract, salvia officinalis (sage) oil*, glycoprotein, tocopheryl acetate, hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) water, equisetum hyemale (horsetail) extract, tussilago farfara (coltsfoot) leaf extract, urtica dioica (nettle) extract, ascorbic acid, glycine soja (soybean) oil, daucus carota sativa (carrot) root extract, beta-carotene. *certified organic

lets just say my hair loved it, my ends as usual my problem areas when i forget to do my monthly protein treatments, were in heaven.. i used this first as a prepoo (yes you can do preotein treatments as a prepoo! as proven by CurlyNikki), then followed it up the next week as a deep treatment, and i was happy with the turn out. my hair felt soft, manageable, easy to come through, had a bit of a shine to it.. i had no complaints about the scent either..

will i buy again?... most definitely!

Product Review: Nubian Heritage

Hey all....

So this one is a few weeks old (along with the next few I'm going to put up in a few)... but yea lol

So i used nubian heraitage's EVOO & Moringa leave in conditioner...  and the Indian Hemp & Tamanu masque and herbal custard

I've been using the Indian Hemp & Tamanu Masque as a prepoo for the longest and once or twice as my deep treatment after i washed. It was my frist time using the custard and leave-in since i got htem in my subscription boxes.

Unlike my other products i only used this for a week... i prepoo'd with my oils and the shea moisture anti-breakage mask & the aubrey organics protein conditioner (which i now love!), shampoo'd with the design essentials sulfate free curl cleanser (which i will definitely buy more of!) and then left the masque in for a couple hours which you know i'm lazy and it turned into an overnight deep treatment, not that my hair minds!

After washing i followed the loc method, used the leave in, followed by my oils, then the custard. left my hair in twists for a day or two, then did a twist out look....

And silly me has no pictures =(

But my hair came out really soft, my twist out was poppin!

went to remoisturize it but that didnt turn out to great.. dont think i should have done the whole detangling bit.. cause when i usually moisturize a twist out i grab sections and apply the leave, oil then moisturizer and twist but i combed it out this time and my hair did not like it at all  ::shrug::

oh well... now i know not to be extra unless its needed! but i will definitely be using these products again and trying out more of each product of the line

Product Review: Karen's Body Beautiful

It didnt wow me.. but it worked ok on my hair.

I have the Sweet Ambrosia Leave-In in Creamy Coco Mango; the Hair Blossom (curl refresher) in Honey Oatmeal; and the Luscious Locs Hair treatment...

I bought these items at the Let Your Hair Down Expo back in April I think.. and i still have some stuff i need to use from there

Alright the first week i used it, i was not a fan of the consistency in the mask or the leave-in im used to it being thicker and not so, runny/watery.. so some points off for that. And then the nozzle on the hair blossom was not for me either.. might as well just brought a regular spray bottle that they use on plants instead... that was not a mist nozzle at all...

In terms of my hair, being that i only used the mask as a sealer to see how my hair reacted to the products alone... it softened it left, it manageable, got some defintion out of it.. but again not a major wow factor that first week.

The second week i sealed with my whipped shea butter (i think) as a sealer and it came feeling better than before.. i'm not a huge fan, i mean i would recommend it to others but i dont think kbb is for me.. i just know when these are finished (despite how much i love the smell of the creamy coco mango!) i will not restock on these..

Product Review: Shea Moisture Yucca & baobab w/ Biotin & bamboo

So i bought some new Shea Moisture products a few weeks ago off the Yucca & Baobab w/ Biotin & Bamboo Extract line (the green one) while shea moisture was having its sale on the Walgreen's site.

With new products i usually give them 2 weeks on my hair before i switch to something else (or at least thats what i started doing lately.

The first week with the Thickening & Growth Milk & Mist wasn't all great. My hair didnt take to well to it at all and left it feeling dry and just yuck. The Anti-breakage masque felt fine in my hair but after i washed it and put the milk & my oils in.. it didn't stay moisturized.. i did the LOC method pretty much everyday of last week.

SIGH

This week, the second week, went so much better.

I got a bit more in tune with the shea moisture products. I did an overnight pre-poo with my oils, the anti-breakage masque and the nubain heritage growth & streghtening masque. I followed a by a Designs Essentials Suflate Free Curl Cleanser, the JBCO Protein Conditioner (with added oils) for 2 hours or so; and then the Anti-Breakage Masque pretty much all day & overnight as treatment. I saw a lot less hair on my comb during the detangle process this week! Major Plus at that. I dusted my ends and this time i sealed my oils and the hair milk in with my whipped shea butter..

Results, Major, Major thumbs up!

Hair was & still is so fluffy!

Moisture lasted for days and re-twisting with the mist and milk, or the milk and oils gave good results! A lot less breakage and my hair does feel thicker lol, not that i needed that latter part. It did as it said it would, volumize, soften and thicken my hair! Do i recommend.. absolutely!

(Body Scrub & lotion: LOVE IT!)

Time to give KBB a go for the next two weeks!

Product Review: Botanical Spirits HerbExture Hair Softening & Strengthening Mask

at Circle of Sister's this year, I along with my friend Krystal (MochaNapps) stopped by the Botanical Spirits booth and we both purchased conditioners. I went with a deep conditioner, cause i was looking for a new one to try and she bought the Shea Soft Styling Creme (her review for the product alone was not a good one but she made it work for her!)

The deep conditioner i bout was the HerbExture Hair Softening & Strengthening Mask (formerly known as the peppermint mud mask)

What is it?An herbal base deep conditioner to soften, increase hair growth & manageability
  • Formulated with herbal conditioning extracts & oils with  apple cider vinegar that will
  • Moisturize, soften and stimulate hair growth
  • Increase hair’s manageability and hydration.
  • Condition & cleanse hair.
  • Good for all hair types especially coarse hair (straight, wavy, curly)
  • Decrease curly hair shrinkage factor
Ingredients: Deionized Water, HerbExture™ Proprietary Herbal Complex Extract, Malus Communis Acetic Acid (Apple Cider Vinegar), Laminariales (Kelp) Extract, Rhassoul Clay, Olea Europeus (Olive) Oil, Ricinis Communis (Castor Beans) Oil, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Milk, Milk Acid, Glycerol Stearate, Cetearyl Strearate, Calcium Streayl Lactylate, Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG-40 Castor Oil, Stearalkonium Chloride, Glycerol Stearate, PEG-100, Rosa Damascena (Rose) Petals Hydrosol, Caramel, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Essential oil, Rosa Damascena (Rose) Geranium Essnetial Oil, Rosmarinum Officinalis (Rosemary)Leaf Extract, Sodium Hydroxymethyl Glycinate, Potassium Sorbate, Menthol.

So for once i didn't add anything to my deep conditioner. No oils or nothing. I used the conditioner as is. It looked like mud, smelled like mud and was gritty to the feel. The smell wasn't all that exciting and kind of had a herbal/minty undertone. It wasn't a heavy scent but it wasn't light either. The mixture wasn't very thick either mostly watery consistency.

I sectioned my hair in 7 big sections, and just grabbed what i could of the mixture onto my fingers (should've used a perm brush) and combed it through after i had washed my hair with black soap and aloe vera gel (will do a review on that later). I used like a third of the 8oz container. I left it in for a good couple of hours, kept myself busy with preparing food, cooking and eating it. And of course taking a good 2-3 hour nap afterwards. So my hair was deeply deep conditioned. lol!

Washing it out was a trip! like i knew that it was gonna come out gross, but seriously the water was brown! At least it was easy to tell when i got all the conditioner out! But my hair came out soft  and manageable just like it promised!

So i watched other reviews (LolaKinkz & GrowBlackHairNET) on it and it turns out after 3-4 uses it helps minimize shrinkage and elongates curls. So hopefully thats the case this time. will let you know soon!

Would I recommend to others?...........YES!
